PRowl Public Relations

PRowl Public Relations is Temple University’s first and only student-run public relations firm that is nationally affiliated through the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). PRowl’s mission is to provide clients with comprehensive PR strategies and solutions, to offer Temple PRSSA members the opportunity to apply their knowledge and gain experience beyond the classroom, and to build credibility while forming lasting student-client relationships.

With PRowl Public Relations, I spearheaded the public relations and communications efforts for #VoteThatJawn, a local voter-outreach initiative aimed at inspiring youth and first-time voters ages 18-21 to get to the polls. PRowl Public Relations’ main goals for the project time period were to increase the initiative’s social media presence, establish content for the social media accounts and draft press releases to promote #VoteThatJawn and its various events to media and students. By the end of the campaign, #VoteThatJawn's Instagram had 132 followers, 392 profile views from the week of election day and 4,525 overall impressions with the account. #VoteThatJawm also received placements in KYW, Fox29, WHYY, the Philadelphia Citizen and more.

In April 2019, the #VoteThatJawn team was selected to present our hard work at Temple University's Undergraduate Symposium for Research and Creativity. 

​

In May 2019, I was awarded the Dapper Award from the Klein College of Media and Communication for PRowl Member of the Year.
